More of the same. It's not a quick process... Still painting. Almost done with the first layer of red on both sides of the pennants. From there it's just touching up. Then I start on the suns and swords.
Due to having a tab up on my browser for 6+ months... I'm working on getting the Russian name file typed up. Of course, it's mostly a matter of transcribing because there is this really awesome guy named Paul Goldschmidt who thought of this loooooooooong before me and did a massive amount of the foot work.
However... his files include 17th century names and a lot of 'See _______'. What I'm looking forward to is having a very straightforward file where I can send it to a new person and say "If it's on the list, it's good to use."
I'm skipping notes as to what is diminutive of what. It's irrelevant for this purpose. Just need the name, century and (for fun) meaning - if any. Of course I will ad the link to the original file in case people want a bit more information on their name. So far... I'm on 'F'! ^_^ LOL
